Fall 2008 Wedding Flowers
I am planning an Italian Vineyard themed wedding for fall 2008. My colors will be champagne and wine, accented with green vines. What flowers would you suggest? What types of flowers are available in these colors? What flowers are in season this time of year?
Not entirely sure whether you’re getting married in the UK or the US, so I’ll qualify this by saying that the following advice is regarding Autumn flowers available in the UK. Sounds like a really interesting theme, and the champagne/ivory and wine/burgungy theme is a very popular choice with many flowers available. Year round available flowers include Roses, Alstromeria, Freesia, Anthurium and Gerbera. You could also include some gorgeous Chocolate Cosmos, Amaranthus and Kangaroo Paw for interest. Your florist would be best placed to help you with availability.
