You could certainly introduce another colour if you wanted to, perhaps a pink, lemon or orange, or you could easily stick to blue and ivory flowers. The additional colour could be introduced into the wedding party flowers, or maybe just into the table decorations. There are many blue flowers available in May, and ivory certainly won’t be a problem. Blue flowers available include Delphinium, Muscari, Ernygium, Agapanthus and Triteleia. Silver foliages like Eucalyptus lend themselves to blue flowers, sure your florist will be able to help you find some fabulous flowers.

I would certinaly agree that the best thing would be to intorduce another colour. Blue has a habit of being a colour that gets lost in dark places, such as churches. So I would recommend something like a gold or purple to highlight the colour and contrast wonderfully. You cousl then use some of the more seasonal flowers like tulips and mix these with hyacinths to create a wonderfully spring seasonal hand tied bouquet with a glorious scent.
