I would certinaly agree that the best thing would be to intorduce another colour. Blue has a habit of being a colour that gets lost in dark places, such as churches. So I would recommend something like a gold or purple to highlight the colour and contrast wonderfully. You cousl then use some of the more seasonal flowers like tulips and mix these with hyacinths to create a wonderfully spring seasonal hand tied bouquet with a glorious scent.

There are plenty of seasonal flowers to choose from in December, including some of the early spring flowers. The only flowers you really need to avoid are the mid-to-late summer flowers. What flowers to suggest to you completely depends on what colours you'd like to use, and obviously the style of your dress. I would say that if you choose any red or burgundy flowers they will automatically be more expensive in the lead up to Christmas. Roses are always available, and other flowers you could choose from include Wax Flower, Orchids, Amaryllis, Tulips, Helleborus (Christmas rose) and Nerine. I think lots of berries and foliage work really well in hand tied bouquets in December.

I should just qualify this by saying these comments are regarding Autumn flowers available in the UK, and that your florist would be best to consult regarding availability. Sounds like you've picked a lovely colour scheme, and I agree that introducing orange and yellow would work really well. I would personally try to keep arrangements quite natural and loose. I think anything too modern wouldn't necessary go with your theme, but staying with lovely flowing arrangements and handtied bouquets would work well. Plenty of flowers to choose from in your colour scheme in Autumn, including Mango Callas, Hypericum Berries, Chocolate Cosmos, Solidago, Craspedia, Freesia, Bupleurum, Sunflower, Hydrangea and Gladiolus.

Not entirely sure whether you're getting married in the UK or the US, so I'll qualify this by saying that the following advice is regarding Autumn flowers available in the UK. Sounds like a really interesting theme, and the champagne/ivory and wine/burgungy theme is a very popular choice with many flowers available. Year round available flowers include Roses, Alstromeria, Freesia, Anthurium and Gerbera. You could also include some gorgeous Chocolate Cosmos, Amaranthus and Kangaroo Paw for interest. Your florist would be best placed to help you with availability.

There are two ways you could go with your colour scheme - stick to the browns and ivories, or introduce another colour. There are heaps of colours to choose from that go really well with chocolate brown and ivory, all manner of pinks, oranges, greens, blues, purple. It's quite difficult to comment on what sort of style to suggest to you without knowing what your dresses are like, or the venue(s) you're using. Gerberas can lend themselves very well to quite modern arrangements though. I'm sure you florist will be able to help you out if they have all the additional details. As long as you do not want late summer flowers, availability shouldn't be an issue as you have a great selection of flowers to choose from in February including all the lovely spring flowers.
